No sign of fish in the immediate area but I'm starting to hear reports of the odd salmon being taken Blackville, Doaktown and with the water being at the ideal level with cool nights I expect to see a fish break water any day now and that should start the summer season - If anyone is reporting their sports taking lots of fish at the moment it should be with a nod & wink.
Saw a nice looking 26 foot canoe on display in Doaktown a few days ago and discovered we now have a company manufacturing and restoring the traditional cedar plank canvass canoes, 17.6 - 18'-20'-26 ft. and up.
