Water still very dark but dropping.  We had fish all day but the run died out into the evening, unlike yesterday.  Corey had a grilse about 5 minutes after  hitting the river and his partner tied into a couple.

At the moment fishing is easier from a boat as the water is too dark to see bottom and makes wading difficult.

I believe they decreed the Northwest Miramichi will be hook & release this year and  they are offering refunds on Crown Lease Water.
