Weather has been cooling off but with nice days.
Initial reports from hunters, they are not seeing many deer and even fewer partridge. I can report plenty of deer tracks nightly in our gardens and around the apple trees, also some fresh overnight moose tracks. I presume that the deer decided to make themselves scarce during daylight hours after reading this years hunting guide. The birds we can blame on an abundance of coyote, foxes and bob cat.
Our first group of hunters come in tomorrow and we are booked until the end of deer season.
